Wounded Spirit has been commissioned by the Australian Army Research Scheme to produce a paper on the “the causes, symptoms and treatment of spiritual wounds suffered by Australian Army personnel.”
To date we have already assembled a strong research base but it is now time to speak with ex- Army personnel in order to develop a better understanding of more specific aspects of this issue. We have sought and received approval from the Australian Defence Human Research and Ethics Committee (ADHREC) for this approach.
We would like to invite you to participate in the research. Depending on your location and circumstances, this will be conducted through a face to face, Skype or phone interview or through a short survey. In all cases this should take no more than 60 minutes to complete. All information gathered is completely anonymous
This research is important as there is simply not enough information available regarding the influence that spiritual wounds received during Defence service have on the mental health and overall well-being of our soldiers. Advice from ex-Army personnel is critical is in this space as it gives depth to our findings and provides insights from additional conflicts outside of the Iraq-Afghanistan environment.
Please feel free to contact me at any stage by phone on 0409305585 or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org to participate
